To DJ,

Nice try , but your Dutch translation skills aren't that good.
Dender: A river that finds his origin in Ath and ends up in the Schelde( One of the major rivers in our country ).
Donder means Thunder in English.
When I open the window I see the Florent Beeckman Stadium, not that it really is that nice, but I'm am proud of it.

So, to all teh cm fans who love belgian LLM

To Megaman,

The board is IRL also 'much demanding' because the team achieved promaotion from fifth div to second div in 6 years and in the 99/00 thy lost the final of the playoff against Kortrijk ( who are now in thirth div after a financial debacle)
How is your young striker ( 19 ) performing??? J..... V.......... ?

That's the type of question that can open the door to all kinds of trouble, fella. Player naming then arson, it's a natural progression

Some will think this is boring, ok , but i'd like to give some info for the belgian leaugue cm lovers.
Fc Denderleeuw E.H. is the full name of the team? why has this changed , in cm 00/01 it was just FC Denderleeuw
Because they got together with Eendracht Hekelgem ( also 2nd div in cm 00/01 ) another financial matter. And now is the chairman of Eendracht Hekelgem Chairman of the club and the trainer of Hekelgem made the same transition.
If you want to know more about belgian LLM, I'll open my own topic.
Let me know
Cheers

You do realise, also, that there's a Jens and a Jurgen playing for the Team, both 19 and both strikers? ...and do you realise how difficult it is to look for players on sites written in a foreign language? A-kern and B-kern, indeed!

How's a hoary old Scottish bloke meant to find out anything on sites like that?

(and you can call me Ian, btw. We don't go for titles in here )

Let's call it my Flemish skills then, seeing as I'm Dutch I tend to speak it reasonably well

It was indeed a liberal translation. I still think Thunderlion sounds

So far, I haven't played much in Belgium yet. So many leagues, so little time.

My only experience: Kermt Hasselt (my translation this time: Does Hasselt groan? ) which was too easy for my liking.

The fact is, the most wealthy clubs (like Arsenal) put their African whizzkids of football in our country (for Arsenal is that beveren) because they don't need a work-permit and they can get very quickly our nationality. After a few years they move to England if they are good enough.

Nice work with Geel though, but I can understand that a newly promoted team to thirth div will be more fun. I once tried it with Ninove but I failed, keep on trying...

Now why can't I ever make mistakes like that? that said, I signed one of my DCs to a new contract when I first took over at Toulouse in my game, and he turned into a great coach in 3 weeks. Always like it when that happens.
