I think not only there, Taips...I've read an article recently about Australia, where some loonies tried to make Star Wars an official religion due to the large number of followers.  | |

I remember all the people naming "jedi" etc. as their chosen religion. I think you've got to get about 1% of the population to make it an official religion. Unfortunately, the movement has never been organised so anyone putting "dark lord of the sith" would be lumped in a different basket.
Not surprisingly, there were insufficient cultists to create a new religion and all were lumped into "other" instead.
