My wife knows that I spend far too much time playing the damn game, and can just about tolerate that, but if she knew that I spent a large chunk of my workday on these boards (reading and spouting sh1te), I'm sure that it would be an instant divorce.

I still can't find my Wife/girlfreind/significant other. She was only popping out the the shop to get some dinner. Ironing is mounting up.

my girlfriend doesn't really know about CM at all apart from

'stupid football game'

I've managed to not give very much away with my girlfriend so far. She knows I play the 'Manager Game', but no idea how much. She was impressed I'd heard of her birthplace (Caerleon), but I didn't dare tell her I knew it from playing non-league teams in the Welsh Cup over a 50 season, 29 day real time savegame. :o

As for having 2000+ posts on a message board about the 'Manager Game', that's probably best left unmentioned.

That much is true! I've had to come up here to not-so-sunny Lancashire to do some essential work, but I thought I'd try and have a peek on the board for the first time in a few days.

She knows. When I'm not at work I'm generally to be found playing my guitars or weight training or more normally playing CM whilst being online.

She doesn't like it, but after 16 years of marriage you tend to put up with a lot more than you do at the start.
