At least we know what the offside rule is.
And what the difference between a playmaker and an anchorman is, even if we don't know when to use which! |

Funny you mention that, reminds me of something I saw at a Stoke match a couple of seasons ago.
A linesman gave offside when Stoke were through on goal. Nothing unusual about that you may think, but the man 'offside' was actually the Stoke mascot, a big grey hippo wearing a Stoke shirt!!! |

'what you playing?'
'football!'
'Which one?'
'CM'
'CM, is that the one on line?'
'No thats, SL'
'So whats the one you write to others about?'
'CM'
'Is that the one you stay up till 3am playing?'
'yes'
'and whats SL?'
'just a laugh with some mates and 4000 others I don't know'
'OH! so which one do you spend hours talking to your pals about on the phone?'
'both!'
'Why?'
'why do you watch reality TV?'
'Don't you start on me, your the one who deosn't come to bed!!'
'all you have to do is ask!'
'But I want romance'
'yes and i want to finnish this season..... and I did come to bed, we've got and 18 month old daughter or is there something I missed'

Neither my girlfriend nor my boss have any idea about CM and this Forum. Keeping this habit a secret without raising too much suspicion has got to be my biggest CM achievement so far.
Yeah, I know it's sad, but I'm not really planning on keeping the job or the girl forever.

Actually you're right. I think that my boss would be far more upset than my wife to discover the amount of time I spend on these boards.
Must go and do some work....Oh hold on Eidos & SI splitting you say.....must read about that |

I've got it good, the girl I'm "seeing" is busy, and we see each other about once a week, if that. I have hours of CM to play while she's working, or what have you. Thankfully, my new lady is the child of and sister to Chilean immigrants (They moved about two years before she was born), and enjoys the beautiful game.
Nice to be back on the forums, I'm not so busy on here during the summers when it's 40'C out!

"Why are you ironing your shirt with a cold iron?"
No wonder women think we're all idiots.
