My wife complains about the amount of time I spend playing CM4. She asks alot of questions like, "Why do you like Man Utd, but manage Kettering?" or "Why don't you just buy better players?"

She knows I do mod stuff and keep the board FAQ for EHM:FE and thinks I'm just pathetic generally. She figures it is better that I do that in the evenings rather than programming because that can get me frustrated. She's genuinely concerned about the disruption that EHM:FE will cause to our life - I've already told her I'm taking a week off work for it. To put that in perspective when our baby is born later this month, I'm taking two weeks off. I think EHM:FE is a similarly life altering event.

That leads me to think that they aren't many FEMALE CM players around.

My fiancée completely tolerates all my hobbies. She doesn't care what I'm doing in my spare time, as long as I pay her enough attention too. She even listens to me, when I tell her about another twit who didn't score a goal in the last 60 matches but makes a hattrick in his first game for his new club. (vs. me, of course.)

Oh, once she thought I was crazy though - when I went with our LLM fellow Alkinear to watch an Unterhaching game and then visit the Munich Starkbierfest.

I'm happily single, it's a nice way to balance drinking, women and champ. Aside from this, I'm too young to be getting girlfriends, I'll keep my happy student life for at least a few more years.

The first girlfriend I got where I live now, left for England for her graduate studies.

The second girlfirend, graduated and went back to her country.

The third girlfriend, went to another state for her PhD.

Yes, they know about CM and the forum, but they are all too far to care...

I think that's because they don't know how to start a new game. A girl once told me she played CM, because her brother played it a lot and she wanted to see what the fuss was about so she loaded up his game.

If anyone loaded up my game and changed it in anyway I would kill them, especially if it was a woman
