The analogy, though, is not relevant.

The statement is clear enough. However, it is issued in a particular context relating to a style of playing a particular computer game:

I really did not intend to go and make a federal case out of this. I made a mistake in naming that which should not be named and I apologise once again. However, I must point out that it is not immediately clear that this relates to things in "real life" and not just in the game.
