hell, I found out last night my reputation was "very poor". That's a bit of a change considering that in my previous game I worked myself up to be appointed coach by real madrid. (I was well chuffed.) I also stopped that game a season later.
On the Mexico subject, I've given up on that, probably not realistic.
a) i agree that it is unreasonable to send scouts to mexico. (flights are so expensive this time of year!)
b) Those players I would have knowledge off would only be the high reputation players.
c) Plus mexico is the richest league in latin america and i can't afford most of their salaries. Especially as I have to get rid of the three players on over 10K salaries that are draining my finances. (None of which i signed btw)
d) the player i wanted is a 19 year old hot prospect for cruz azul, a club that recently made it to the finals of the copa libertadores IRL. I really don't think he'll be that interesting comming to play in my 5000 seater arena.
e)all this may change when in serie B!
I did get an Iranian player in, I thought that was justified as he was an international so I would have heard of him (being a dedicated manager with an eye on the asian qualifier groups). When I sent my scout off to scout him, but i sent him by donkey in order to keep the cost down :p

i also scouted north africa, as that is technically a neighbouring country. Results were fruitful.
