Has it not been the case in recent years for a higher league club to team up with a lower league club to share players and give experience to the young lot. I seem to remember Man Utd doing something like that.

Has anyone else heard anything similar?

If that is the case then there wouldn't be a problem in LLM would there?

I wouldn't feel comfortable about it to be honest, as it's an advantage not built into the game.

How much information does your mate give you about the players he's selling? How does he react to AI clubs that come in to buy the players you want? How do you react to AI trying to buy players your mate wants?

Mat, LLM and Online/Network/2 person gaming are uneasy bedfellows for reasons such as the ones mentioned in this thread.

The points you raised. No reason why you can't sign/trial his players, as long as it's done within the spirit of the game, although Zealots would insist the players were scouted first.

As for selling him players, does it feel realistic to sell players knowing you're gaining an advantage by charging 5% over the asking price? I know players who have been sold for more, but I'd be dubious about it.

Lee. ManUre and Antwerp have an agreement, but it's not programmed into the game, therefore it's not LLM.

Personally, I wouldn't sell a player unless :

A) He's crap
B) I can't stop him leaving.

no other choices in my game.

That doesn't mean you have to do it. We play the game in the most realistic way we can. That's what LLM is all about.

But it's your game, play it how you want to. Just don't expect a rousing reception in here if you do.
