Default Blooding Youth.

Evening. Im playing as Lincoln, England Divson 3 (03/04) and i have a young, a striker which is abosute class, far too good for the league. I have being trying to play according to the LL guidelines and rather enjoying it..

My question is while this lad is no Inspector Gadget he is quite good but only 18. I could play him every/most games but i feel this is unrealistic.

To continue playing in the LL spirt how many games could u give a recently turned 18 year old a season?

cheers lads.

Dude

No player naming. Edit out the name of the ugly over-rated Everton teenager before the mods do.

you can play them as often or as little as you want

(i reckon about five other people will point out the player naming and post for just that reason before its edited)

Oh, and to answer your question, well its up to you. There are plenty of 18/19 year-olds playing regularly in the lower leagues, so I wouldn't worry too much how often you play him. If he stays fit and scores you the goals, whats the problem?

Burn out can be a problem mind you if his stamina etc is suss but if theres no probs there, then why worry how often you play him? Play him all the time if you want.

No player naming!

(posts just to make Rekwob look psychic, not to point out the player naming. )

Is it realistic that a manager would not play their best player just because they are 18?

Premiership youth is a different question. Mostly they are extremely promising but not crucial to the team, and get some games for experience. In the third division however....
