For what it's worth, you're not just imagining it - there have been threads in the past on this.. it was a problem with the CM3 series, something to do with the way the draw was done.. if memory serves me correctly someone said that SI had acknowledged there was a problem.

Haven't heard any mention of it with CM 03/04 though, so I assume it's been rectified.
