Not porn child, this means that as an LLM manager I am entitled to look at player stats from around the world, a clarification on the fog of war argument.
About the real life equivalent: The differences between a good manager and a great manager is having that gut feeling... And why not sign him, his salary demands was less than half of my squad rotation players..

On reflection, Renato, A2000, Alkinear and Iajafer have already answered your queries.
At the end of the day, you play your game in the way that you think it is right, and that gives you the most pleasure. That may not necesarily coincide with the way that people who regularly post in this forum choose to play the game but, if that is the case, no-one is going to force you to tell us about it. |

What? and avoid arguments? debate? crass insults? Then why bother logging on!
Eventually i'll have a perfect understanding of LLM-realities-as-applied-to-CM4, and my life will become better for that, so please, its the christmas season, indulge me.
About that mexican, i did look at him before signing him, as i have the mexican leagues running i clicked on view match and watched him perform. This should be realistics. As a mexican manager its safe to assume i have friends and colleagues in the football business at home. One phonecall to ask a mate to tape a game and send it to me should be realistic no?

I again refer you to iajafer's original quote...

'That gut feeling' - as in a bunch of guys in GPG told you to sign him so you knew his stats and ability already and didn't feel the need to scout him.
Your question was answered by a2000's first posting, you're cheating your ass off bascially.

Renato. The one thing I can see your point on is the Nationality thing. If, as a Mexican Manager, you get a job in...say...Spain, I can see no reason why you can't send a scout to Mexico - Mexican National and scouting only Mexico - to act as your "contacts" in Mexico.
Anyone else?

Please, you insult me. Do a search, but I think i'm the only guy who has posted mexican players on GPG. My guy was a regen, i've never found him again.
The only thing i've done which is most probably blatantly cheating is buying thor-hallssun (note: not real name :p). Because i'm slowly falling in love with him (!?!?!?)Ând now i's seriously thinking of rayed weyad (not real name)
As i feel i have sinned i'm using this thread as some strange sort of confession booth and hence the title of the thread is "how can you resist temptation."
It must be because of the christmas season; to avoid the crass commercialisation of it all of it all i indulge in a spot of sin-and-redemption type flagellation. Must be the catholic upbringing.
So, how was your christmas shopping?

For once, I'm not letting this get off topic
Exactly how did you come across this "regen" that you've never been able to find since, and that you knew how good this "regen" was going to be before you even signed him?
As for the entitlement to look at player stats, sure, you can check out how many goals a player has. You can't check his numerical attribute with regards to acceleration, pace, and agility, though. You're not a LLaMa, no matter how hard you "try" as LLaMas don't need to try, we just exist.

Well, your honour: In that game i started off as a 2nd division manager in mexico, then moved to a 1st div. side, and then when to a 2nd division spanish side, with which i did very well. Even when in mexican first division side i'd check the goal leaders and average ratings leaders in the 2nd division. the player in question was no these lists starting 03/04. Never bought him for my 1st div. team but decided to sign him when i moved to spain. Couldn't afford any other good mexican strikers.
I never checked his numerical abilities, they were masked, and i could not send my scouts cause they were all scouting the english conference leagues
Why do i feel like i'm being cross examined? Not that it matters, as Judge Guiness79 charged me guilty before hearing my evidence. Quote: "You're not a LLaMa, no matter how hard you "try" as LLaMas don't need to try, we just exist
So i guess you're either a born LLM or you're not. Conversions are not allowed. What a bunch of fascists you all are.
Did you buy cm03/04 for christmas? I've started my LLm game on cm4 and can't be bothered to change games until i reach the uefa cup Will probably buy it after thought.
