i have signed a few players but theydon't have work permits how can i get them?

what?! if a player needs a work permit then you cant sign them till you get it. are you in the right forum?

Yes, one can sign players without getting work permits. You cannot play them straight off though. You have to loan them out (so they can get match fitness in other teams which they can play for) or keep them in your team (but without gaining match fitness). I think it is 5 years to get English citizenship. Other countries' take less time.

I don't know if it is implemented in FM but I believe in real life if a player played 70% of the last year's? (not sure) national team matches, he can get a work permit.

There are probably other ways to get work permits but I am not sure.
