Default Playing on laptop

Hi guys just a quick quiery.

When opening up FM08 on my laptop it goes from being a widescreen to being a narrow screen when the game starts up, cutting the sides of the laptop screen of.

The screen resolution is 1280 by 800 pixels.

I was just wondering if anyone knew if there was anyway to play FM in full screen?? Its not a major worry cos the game still plays fine. I was just wondering if anyone has the same or can help?

Cheers

Try this mate (windows names are a bit different in german but I hope you know what I mean):

Go to your link to the FM2008. Right-Click and then "Properties", a window is popping up go to the tab "Link" then write the following behind the "CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\fm.exe" in the field target:
-small_screen -windowed
with an blank in front

On my PC it looks like this in the field "Target":
"CProgramme\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\fm.exe" -small_screen -windowed
apply and then start the game, should work

Thank you my friend.

After playing most of FM07 on my laptop and since the day FM08 came out, I can now play it full screen. It also sems to be running a touch faster!!! You are a genius!!
