I decided to keep track of how I scored goals and thought that you might be interested in the results.

I watched each match in full. It got a little tedious, so only did it for first 25 league matches.

Match Analysis


Some of the things I noticed:

Every player is set to long shots rarely but nearly a third of all shots is from outside box.

I can hardly score from free kicks, corners and shots outside the box.

95 times I had a player 1 on 1 with the goalie and only scored 5 times. Most of these chances came from through balls and counter attacking.

More than a third of goals came from rebound\saves from the goalie.

8 times in 25 matches the opposition goalie was man of the match.


I forgot to mention, I am playing as Rangers in the SPL where the opposition is not very good and I have a really good team. Won the champ cup last year.
