Why is it that although my side are doing really well at senior level my youths academy never seem to develope like other teams youth players do, despite me having a so called world class youth training facilties. Also why is that that every youth player is reccommended to be offloaded in the near future by my coaches?
Any suggestions??

look at the player comparison and to what level the coach thinks the player will develop, rather than just the future actions for the player. often they say the player should be offloaded in the near future when theyre actually a decent prospect. the best way imho to help them develop, is to get them on full-time training schedules asap, and to get them some first team experience as well. if, after maybe a season or two of loans, the arent progressing acceptably, then offload them.

I have tried a few things like, sending youth players to non league and lower div feeder clubs, and have got them on full time training.
I actually now have 16 year old who seems to get motm every U18 game and he is dubbed as the new michael owen! but all my coaches still reccomend i offload him.
I find myself trying to sign other teams youth players as their rating are alot higher than my players. baffled

I find my coach assessments of my youth players really annoying. I'm managing Whitley Bay in the Blue Square North and over half my squad are 16-17 year olds straight out of the youth system, but my coaches recommend I should offload almost all of them!

The other annoying thing is that they insist on comparing them against on-loan players who are from Premiership clubs. Sure, the on-loan players are nowhere near Premiership standard and nor will any of them be, but they are still a class apart from my young kids so comparing against them gives an unrealistic view, especially since they are only with me for 1 season and I am trying to build a team of local lads with permanent contracts rather than almost 50% loanees!
