why is it that there never seems to be any board takeovers any more. I am in my 5th season and there has not been one board takeover in any of the leagues

They will have taken place but you don't get a news item in your inbox about it. I think it goes to the leagues news so its easy to miss it.

There has only been one in my game in three seasons but most clubs have completed takeovers now and finances don't seem to deterioate as quickly on the game.
