I am playing as Spurs and have just played Arsenal in the FA cup final.
I was 2-1 up and made a substitution. a few mins later i realised that the score was 2-2, i thought perhaps i had just missed it, although i watch teh comments closely. Any how.... i made another substitution and then again a few mins later i saw that teh score was 2-3 to arsenal. I know that i both cases i did not seem the commentary for the goal and i then checked the times of the goals and they are at the exact same time as my substitutions.
It's a new feature SI introduced for FM08. In order to make it more realistic, the match continues while you make your substitution, as it would in real life. You can still pause the game, though. It's certainly no bug.
I was aware of the game running unless its paused. but if i had not paused it and the game screen changes once you confirm the changes, then the goals were scored at the time of confimration, not whilst i was making the changes.
This was not a case of running in the back ground, the timing is to close.
anyone had this problem?
