you go to preferences on your fm game.
then change it from metalic(default skin) to whatever the name of your new skin is on the scroll down menu

Hey, sorry if this has already been answered on another thread, but how long does it take to load a new skin? 'Cos i've been waiting over 1/2 hour for a new skin to load

That means you haven't installed it correctly

Been having the same probs as dodge. Unzipped in right folder, but when i try to apply the new skin in prefs i get the 'loading skin' box indefinately. Happens with all four skins i've download.

I'll say it again - this only happens if you've done something wrong!
Read the clear guide that Debski has posted above in this thread and install them double-checking that guide!

| I got them to work, but the ONLY thing i did differently was use WinZip, instead of the Windows extractor.
That wasn't flagged up, so i'd try that Dodge.

It was an extra folder (now deleted) that caused my problem! Kinda sorted it out now - the skins installed but there is no text at all!! I'm guessing this is a problem involving the font files though?

Its very unlikely that it will be in a patch .. best guess is to wait for fm2006
