Sorry for the double post,(SI let us edit our posts please ), i have just noticed somthing, the fault in my game with the scottish premierleague is used to say in my game, now it says the right names for all tournaments.

It'll have correct league names thanks to Svend Ruugard's original L.N.C. file that I've done a few modifications to (including the Scottish "Premierleague" being renamed to "Premier League" - that's most of the changes I've made in truth, spaces and capital letters here and there).

My next project, well... I'm currently working on an English Leagues patch for PES5 which is eating up most of my time, but I will be making at least one more add-on for this background pack which will be released shortly... Stay tuned

As I said previously, "unfortunately Mark, it's impossible to achieve this in FM2006 (displaying specific backgrounds during a match, as in previous games). I hope this feature will come back for FM2007!!"

Update for the FM2006 Complete English Stadiums Background Pack (does not require the original pack to work but it helps!). Includes West Ham fix and over 70 lower league stadiums previously unfeatured, thanks to Eilif Krokmyrdal.

The Sheffield Wednesday picture does not work. In the folder it is named 'wednesday2' but in the config its name 'sheffwed2'. I changed the name of the file in the folder to sheffwed2 to match the config but it still does not work.

although i must say im having an issue that i hope you might be able to clear up - i deleted everything in my cache and followed your readme file,but for example i'll use Upton Park,sometimes i see it,but if i go to another team then go back its gone,and so forth.I didnt download the first pack,just the updated fix that has west ham and the non league teams in it so is this where i am going wrong?

In the readme files for the updates, I've specified the wrong installation directory. The pictures should be extracted to your Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\data\graphics\pictures\backgrounds\england directory.

You can either download the above file or make the changes msadler04 points out above. Either way, PLEASE NOTE that in order to see the changes you will need to delete the files in your game's "cache" directory (this should fix your problem msadler04).

Well really and truly it's best to download and install them all (full-screen or windowed) to see if this solves any problems (the first pack, the update you already have and the final fix pack above), but quite honestly I can't see it solving anything.

I'm not sure why you'd be having these problems, I've not heard of them before. I suppose the only things I can recommend are A) using the Metallic 2006 skin (if you're not already) and seeing if this solves the problem (in which case it's obviously because of the skin you're using), or B) un-installing the game and re-installing (drastic I know but I can't think of anything else - hopefully someone else may have an answer for you!).
