Ok, I've done what it said in the edt guide as so:
"SWAP_TEAMS" "AFC Wimbledon" "Hayes"

However, when I go to load up FM, it crashes saying one of the teams is invalid or extinct, what am I doing wrong?

Have you tried using the ID numbers of the teams instead of their names?

And also, try swapping them with someone else apart from Hayes. It's worth a bash.

Did you change the type of file to "all files" when you saved it, and called it something with .edt on the end? To check this right click on the file click properties and under type of file it should say EDT file.

Have you placed the file in the db folder?

Before you load a new game go into preferences and make sure the file name is clicked on at the bottom of the screen.

Ah yes, I miss typed edt and put edd. I'll try it now and get back to you, cheers!

Well it was a mixture of both. I changed the names to the numbers and it worked perfectly.
