I was making changes to the database and as the changes were saving my PC crashed, now whenever i try to load the Database it says "critical error has occured in sigames......(the folder name)...application must close"....What can i do the get the Editor back working. 'm assuming i cannot start a new game while it is like this also?

You don't need to be!

Your backup database should be in: My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\ in one of the folders in there (data editor I think). I don't have FM installed on this computer right now so I can't give you a definite answer.

In future, I would recommend that you title your topics better, to give people an idea of what you need help on. Also, do a search of the forum beforehand to see if this has been brought up before. Not only does it help you more quickly, it'll also save the forums getting clogged up with duplicate topics!
