For instance im trying to sign an old zidane on a free, hes been out of contract for about 6 months now but still wont drop to div2 standard.

ricflairandrew: Let's be realistic... Zidane wouldn't sign for a division 2 side and you'd need to offer an extremely good deal (higher than would be normally possible due to wage rules in the English league) if he were to even consider it.

You could use MCFM or Jpees editor to lower his reputation, he might come then.

That would be defeating the object then, wouldn't it?!

If you use MCFM or FMM, what's to stop you using it on a pre-existing player to change their stats to something better than Zidane!?

I think ricflairandrew doesn't want to cheat on this ocassion. Otherwise, this whole thread would be pointless.

Well its here in the editors portion of the forums, so if he did not want to cheat then general questions would be a better part of the forums to ask this in.

Well i was hoping for an editor like inthe old days hwere you could change peoples fav clubs and staff.

If you wanted to cheat like that just to get him to sign for you, you had might as well just lower his reputation, sign him, then raise it back up. Of course its blatant cheating but to each their own. If you don't lower his ambition too he might demand to go to another club, though no idea how it would effect someone so old.

Has he already said he plans to retire? If so, you'll have no chance, even if the retirement date is well into the future.
