The instructions say that their is one on the disk somewhwere.

can not find any file of that sort on the disk.
No editor.exe nor anything close. I have FM bought in France. Could they have decided not to put it because the doc was in english ?

edit.exe is the editor

'fm data editor.exe' is actually the editor executable file.

I'm haing the same problem - it says the editor guide is on the cd but its not ! I have autorun and under the PC folder i have setup and thats it - i cant see any guide at all

Same here, there's no guide to using the editor on my CD (english version also).

I decided not to use the editors on previous versions but I thought I'd experiment with the new one. I'm not going to without clear instructions on how it's used, I'll neeed to search the forums.

Just back up your DB folder and start by trial and error, the editor is pretty much self-explained, rather easy...

That will do the trick, as it's the same editor just with a few additions in FM2006...
