Just wondering if someone can help. I have used FMScout for a while now but have never really known what the Scout Rating % is and so til now have ignored it. I now though am intreagued to what it is, so could someone explain please. I have done a search in the forum regards to this subject but not much luck in finding a good explanation.
I'm not 100% sure but I think it takes certain player values and relates them to what is needed for a given position, coming out wiht a percentage at the end of it. If you look on the Ability screen for a player you find their percentage for each position.
I always take my "Assistant Manager filtered" shortlists from the game and load them into FMScout to sort them by Scout Rating. I am curious what all goes into the percentage.
I think they are, how good can that player play in that position according to his values. I am not sure if the position of the player is included in this percentage but I think it is one of the most important ratings with pa, ca and age.
The scout rating signifies the position the player is most suited to fill & how good he is at that position.
Note however that your ingame tactics will have a major effect on your players performance as a player with a rating of 65% as a striker maybe perfect for a counterattack tactic while a better player with 75% scout rating might be considered only "good" at such a tactic
