Default FFM2 Editor help

I have just downloaded FFm2 editor and it says
'To open this file, Windows needs to know what programme created it. Windows can go online or you can manually select the programme from a list.

What shall i do.
Any help appreciated.

You need either winrar or a program that will extract it, just like a zip file. I use IZarc.

Sounds like some kind of configuration file. Are there other files? I doubt it will do you much good by itself.

Nah the uploading thing is a .cfg the actual programme is .rar, but i dont have winrar, whenever i try and download it and open it, windows turns it into a word doc any idea why?

Ok, i've managed to download it and get it on winzip, but then it says
' The winzip wizardcannot open this file: it does not appear to be a valid archive.'
How do i fix this?

Not sure why, other then windows does not support .rar files itself. You can try right-clicking it and seeing if there are any compression options, but I doubt there will be.
