In the editor, goto the clubs. Under the side panel there is a side heading, "competitions".
Near the bottom should be something like, "continent competition". Put in uefa cup (or EURO cup...) and seeding of 1 (first round), make sure clubs are taken out before you put them in (I recomment Bolton as they cannot qualify this year).
It's a shame UEFA have changed inter-toto cup around as it has implications on those making new season updates.
