How to get 5-star training with just 8 or 9 coaches?!
Hi,
Even at large premiership clubs, the board will only allow you to have about 8 or 9 coaches (I know you can hire more, but still). How can you get 5-star training for each category, with only this much coaches? My first team training is now very good (almost everything is 4 or 5 stars), but my youth training sucks, since my coaches are 'regular coaches' and not 'youth coached' and only have about 2 or 3 stars for training youth in a category for which they have 4 or 5 stars for first team training... Now, if I hire a bunch of extra youth coaches to solve this problem, I have a total of 16 coaches or something?!!
Help...

Thanks for the replies. I do ask my coaches to do just 1 job. However, if they are not very good at dealing with youth, I need 16 coaches!! Anyway, it seems I need coaches who can do both...there goes my hard earned cash.

I would advise concentrating on your weaknesses then. If you have bought good strikers but your defence looks weak, try and get good defensive coaches and spare on the attacking.

Try having 1 coach doing only 1 job.
IE only Strength training. If you find the right coaches, you can easily get 4-5 stars for all categories.
Tricolores, coldcell's way works well. for my game i place a coach with two jobs he specializes in. seems to be under-utilize if i place only a job to a coach.

i still think its highly suspect that even a top team has to have a a coach assigned to only 1 role if you wish to have 5-star coaching, a star coach should be able to give 5-stars in at least two categories. Also the ease of getting 5-star coaches for individual jobs is rediculous there are like 10 of them.

Your dead right, every club has about 20 or 25 coaches with loads dedicated to youth unlike about one or two in FM, like its stupid that you'll only have one goal keeping coaches </BLOCKQUOTE>
Eh, most clubs have 10 coaches max. Sheff Utd have the exact same set up as FM, 1 for each area.

And even though the club state that you should not have more than 8 coaches, that does not stop you from signing 12.
