As you can see in the above picture that giggs, scholes and park have arrows ahead of them.
my question is what does this mean and how can i can make this formation manually.

this means those palyers will run higher up the pitch when they get the chance...bit confused how it works really but forward arrows seem to instruct players to move higher when in possesion and backwards arrows seem to instruct players to move to that position when not in position...just hold right click on chosen player and move the mouse to the position you want

Farrow/Forwrd Arrow = Position of player when team in possesion

Barrow/Backward Arrow = Position when team out of posesion

Side Arrow to the outside = When in posesion

Side Arrow to the inside = when not in posesion.

So if you want a MC to go forward heny your in possesion give him a farrow, but if you want his partner to drop back when your not, give him a barrow.

basically means that when in possesion scholes will try to move to AMC, giggs to AML and park to AMR
