I'm watching my team's match now against Margate... And an idea struck me.

What if we can make it so our players kick the ball high up the pitch, but not to goal kick, but to near-goal throw-ins?

It's genius.. It can create a chance from nothing. Get you closer to their goal straight from your defense, even under pressure! It's easy... Question is if you can incorporate that into the game.

ummm, you could try time waisting higher with passing down the wings. this should naturally play the balls more into the corner. dont have target man on otherwise they'll launch it towards your target man more than the sides. with direct passing and a quicker tempo

thought of one more thing. have your wingers on high cd to try and force fb's into conceeding a throw in

I've always thought that'd be an interesting tactic in real football... For a lower physical team of course. Get the ball, hit it near the corner flag, bunch up, put them under pressure and try to get a cross in or a corner. Rinse and repeat.

I know quite a few parks teams who do that in the games I referee on a Saturday/Sunday morning. I think having a team with all the attributes as 1 though is unlikely in FM.
