I've just had the situation, where in the week leading up to a game, the manager I'm going to play has stated to the media that one of my players has to be stopped if they are to have any chance of winning the game.

This particular player is on the fringes of the first team, and will only normally play if I have an injury, or sudden loss of form.

Are there any thoughts or suggestions as to whether I will benefit my team by changing the starting line up to bring this player in??

I have also wandered this say if He's a right winger You could play him and then focus your passing down the opposite wing. As your oppenents would be concentrating on the other side following there managers instructions
