hi everyone!
this is my first post, so i will be short.

I have been playing this game for a long time and what i found out about FM 08 is that u can not create universal tctic like we did in FM 07, FM06...

a lot of people said "this is perfec tactic" or "im killin everyone"

i tryed 5 "killer" tactics with 5 different teams. 2 low leage teams and 3 rich big teams.

Same tactic didnt work whit all teams. I started a game from the scratch 4 times with bayern Munich and everytime those tactics gave me a different results even if i had same players.

so what im trying to say when u choos team and u manage to create good tactic for that team do not copy it next time when u r using different team. It will probably NOT work.

if im wrong please correct e and by the way sorry for my speling mistakes

I have to agree with you, the guys at SI did a game that is impossible to have a perfect tactic and this is good.
In the other games ppl just appear with the perfect tactic and BANG! you win everything. As in real life this is not possible here because there are a lot of other things on football. You have to watch for your team form, psychologic, morale, weather, opposition tactics and so on...
There are so many variables que just a tactic cant win all alone.
I would dare to say that its like 50% your tactic and the other 50% all the other variables, what is real reallistic. So, if you do a tactic that explores your team strenghts dont change it because of a bad game, **** happens... Stay with it and change some team talk and media talk and watch your team come back...

A thing to note, I played the last CM before coming to FM and I have to say that CM is ridiculous easy and unreal. In 2 seasons I got promoted from second division and won the league with a "killer" tactic. There, **** never happened to me, and maybe this is fun for some ppl, but not for the ones that like realism like us aight?

Plenty of decent threads around for you to try and get your head around the game. There are enough whining threads on the forum as it is now.

If you post up more information about your tactic then perhaps people will actually try and help. Threads like these deserve to be closed. In future please abide by the forum rules
