Hi just wondering if anyone had uncovered some cheap or free gems that do really well in the Conference North / South.
I have found a couple or four...
Leon Drysdale - D RL - Takes an awesome free-kick
Mark Sale - S C - Getting on a bit but set him as you targetman and he will win everything.
Gavin Grant - S C - Very quick, lacks composure but has scored 15 in 26.
John Pearson - M C - Good passer, hard worker.
Chris Armstrong - S C - Old target man, good in the air but runs out of steam towards the end of the season.
Kieran Tracey - AM L - Tons of assists and started getting goals towards the end, young.
Sorry I'm not naming anyone specific here, but here's some advice for getting free players in the Conference North/South:
If you load all UK & Ireland nations, you can get some excellent players. I won the North and Nation with Blyth two seasons running with a lot of Irish/Scottish/Northern Irish players.
If they're any good, your assistant will regard them as a definite purchase. Go through the players that you need to fill positions.
Getting a parent club also works wonders. As with Blyth, I got Newcastle, who sent me Ian Black, Paul Huntington and David Edgar.
One excellent striker I signed was Paul Robinson (ex-Newcastle). He plays for a local team in Sunderland, but they will accept £0 + a friendly.
sign billy brawley for 0k if hes in ure game hes an awesome player can play anywhere in midfield and upfront 2! also yaku for 0k but he got injured and was never the same. ben lenders is worth a try also someone called something swan (maybe mark) improves a lot. and beck (cb)on loan then i signed him for 1k

im gonna try your guy before i say anything about you only furious has any sense so far though, dean pooley has been the worse of the lot because he moves about 1 mph to the ball while the oposition are running flat out, he may as well stand still coz it wouldnt make a difference
