I got Ronaldo in the third season as well, only had to pay £68m though.
I say "only", but you know what I mean.

I don't think he's THAT good. In fact no player is worth over 100 million and you can always find a simillar player maybe a tad worse but 4 times cheaper...
But if you have money and don't know what to do with it...

I got him for £44m in 2010. Been a brilliant player for my Spurs side. Him and Lennon bombing up and down the wings

I spent over £100m once, and I think that no matter how good the player, they will never live up to a £100m price tag.
The player was Fabregas, by the way. Pre-patch so he was inconsistent as anything. But then, if I pay that much money I expect an average well in the 8's.

Thanks everyone for your advice. Sadly the board cut my transfer budget down to 88m even though we have 180m in the bank so now i can't afford him but have decided to keep trying. If it takes 105m to get him then i will pay it when i have the transfer budget.

definitely don't, he's one of the best on the game but you can get both joaquin( or amazing rw of choice) and vicente( or amazing lw of choice) for 70m tops
