Im Everton 1st season in the transfer window. Im playing Arteta on the left (injured atm) Cahill in the middle and Osman on the right with the Nev as holding DMC behind them. Osman hasnt been terrific, and McFadden is on his way out in the jan window.
I don't think he's that good a player, really.
He's too slow to be a great winger, and he's missing some stats like anticipation, long shots and concentration to be a really good attacking mid, too.
Xabi Prieto would be better, yes, but also players like Miguel (Atl. Madrid) or Esposito would be better choices (and in the same price-range).
Why not stick to Van der Meyde, though? He's actually rather good, and can develop a lot, too!

Van der Meyde has been injured for all but one game. He played really well in that game, then tore his groin in the first 5 mins of the next match. </BLOCKQUOTE>
I've signed Quagliarella for jan as well, it'll give me some breathing room on the wings and ill soon find out who fits and who doesnt.
