Real Madrid Football Club is regarded my most as the biggest and best football club in the world today, and vies for the top spot in Spanish football with other giants, Barcelona. They are based in the Bernabeu, Madrid. They are the most succsesful club in Spanish history, having won the league 29 times between 1932 and 2003, but have been runners up the last two seasons. They have one the spanish cup 17 times, and have been the Champions of Europe 9 times to date. But Madrid have been on a barren run since 2003, having not won a single Trophy!
Can you make Real great again?

The squad is good, but there are areas which can be improved on, like the centre of defence which looks a bit weak. I feel Pavon, Bravo and Salgado can all be sold. Also there is a lack of class in centre of midfield, with no outstanding candidate, as all others are dm's or rm's.
Possilble signings:
DL - Taye Taiwo, Marco Ingrao
DC - Hedwiges Maduro, Vanden Borre
MC - Sneijder, Hargreaves, Cahill
I have gone Madrid in the demo and everything is going very well. Top of the league, W6 D1 and won 3 from 3 in the CL, scored 10 conceded 0 (group includes Porto, Spartak and A Vienna).
My defence is pretty solid with Cannavaro and Ramos at the centre of defence and Helguera getting some playing time too to keep his fitness at match ready level.
Only made 2 signings, Mike Zonneveld for £2.1m and Figo for £950k. Both cover a couple of positions so both good squad investments.
The back four was orginally Salgado-Ramos-Cannavaro-Carlos but Cicinho is a player and a half and is currently my top "assister" with 5. A few of those from playing him at right back but I also have played him at attacking right mid to good effect.
Carlos got injured for about a month so Bravo came in and did a job, he then picked up an injury so thankfully I had Zonneveld to fill in at left back.
Midfield started off with Beckham-Diarra-Emerson-Reyes but altered it quickly to bring Guti into the centre of midfield as a more creative player, at the expense of Diarra.
Reyes didn't have the best of starts, got sent off in 2nd league game, at home to Barca and was generally poor morale. I experimented with Zonneveld, Figo and Cassano wide left but the last couple of games Reyes has came back onto a storming set of performances. Very happy to sub him after 75 mins of my last game, when he was on a 10, and he went off to a standing ovation.
With Figo and Cicinho options at right mid I played Beckham in Guti's position in the centre of mid for the last 2 games and he has done well.
Emerson also picked up a 4 week injury so Diarra is in for him now. This position has had tactics altered to make it a very much defensive midfield player, no forward runs, passes etc, tackling and always covering. Seems to work very well as when I am on the attack the holder is sitting in a line with the two full backs (slightly ahead of the centre backs) if the move breaks down.
Up front is where the real fun and games are. Robinho was superb in pre-season and my ass man rates my best front two as him and Ronaldo (who was injured) with Raul wide left.
So I started the season with Robinho and Raul up front, did ok. Then RVN came on as sub at Rauls expense and got the needed goals.
He then started with Robinho with Raul on the bench and from there I was left with a fair bit of a decision to make. RVN scored for fun, Robinho put in the performances and caused lots of trouble with his dribbling and Raul then came back onto a game and scored when he was playing in place of RVN. Even Cassano chipped in a couple of goals. And now Ronaldo is back fit again, but not really doing it.
At the moment my prefferred front two are Raul and RVN but that is changeable. If Ronaldo comes onto a game I have a superb set of options up front.
Overall, very happy with how its going, would maybe add a back up keeper better than Diego Lopez and possibly a 4th centre half as Pavon or Meija aren't up to it IMO but thats about it for team improvements.
I was actually 1-0 down to Barca at home (Etoo 4 mins, slalomned through my defence), had Reyes sent off for a 2nd bookable on 60+ mins and won with 2 goals in the last 20 mins or so, RVN and Robinho, great comeback.
Well, i think i made some good moves in the transfer window, signed a centre mid. called Teho Janssen who is starting, also got Maduro, who is on the bench. All started well with a 4-0 win over Celta with boosted the moral.
