What season are you in? You've got Gilberto, Denilson, Diarra, Flamini & Song. Why would you need Thiago, who is not better than any of them? Steer well clear of the guy.
Yep, Diaby is very much ready. If Cesc get's injured put Diaby in as MC and he'll do fine for you. If its a huge match like Man Utd or Chelsea, and you're a bit worried about playing Diaby there, then put Rosicky in as MC.
I usually tend to play Diaby in all FA Cup and Carling Cup matches and give him about 10-15 league games to boot. Dont play him as DM though. Denilson, Flamini, Diarra & Song can all cover that position for Gilberto. You can even send Song & Denilson out on loan to gain more experience as Flamini & Diarra are more than enough cover. :thup:
If you're still in the first transfer window, then I think you can get Fred for a little less than that. People usually get him for around 13M (as did I atleast twice) so try to negotiate a little with them. Should definitely get down to 15M atleast. Even if not, get him. He's a great player and him, along with RVP (GOD!) & Adebayor would be formidable. And getting him would also provide you with a bit of flexbility with RVP as you can then use RVP on the wings if needed. Would rather play him upfront though as he scores nearly every game for me. :thup:
