first of all, why is he such a miserable git? out of interest, does anyone who knows anything about mexican football know if is he like this in real life?

secondly and more seriously, i need a replacement for him, as he seems to be hell bent on leaving after only 32 league games at west ham... signed him for £3.2m and i'll probably get a good £20m for him this is added to the £6m transfer budget i have left, does anyone have any suggestions, especially those who have managed west ham? i'm in july 2009

i only hired 2 Gks in FM: Akinfeev and Carrizo and both were awesome, see if you can get Carrizo, i'm not sure but i think his contract ends in 2009 or 2010... Akinfeev probably wont join your team but Carrizo might...

Oscar Ustari is great. Turns out to be better than Akinfeev in my game but he will be expensive. Otherwise Marco Amelia is a decent replacement.

Akinfeev, Enyeama, Ustari are probably the three most common choices as they're relatively easy to acquire. Schmeichal, Gordon, Felipe are just about as good only a bit younger. Preston Edwards if you want someone English, I bought him to the prem from a league 1 team for £130k as I ended up with no other first team keepers - he avd 7.41 in his first season and keeps getting better.
