Would like a deep lying midfielder that can pull the strings like Pirlo does at Milan are there any cheaper options around!?

don't know if he's the type of player your looking for but playing dan gosling in a holding role has worked for me.

banega is great, but beware hes no good in the air, so youd need others in midfield that are - i found that out the hard way!

You could probably get Wijnaldum. Cost me £4 mil but some get him free at beginning of season. He's Attacking Mid, but I play his as a CM/DM and he's quite good.
