I've never actually signed him, but I've always wanted to as his stats look immense. He looks almost like the perfect defensive player, aside from his low decision making, and he is very young so he must surely improve.
Also - when is the best time to buy him, and for how much? At the start of the game Valencia accept a £12m bid but he has no intention to move. Will I have to unsettle him, or does will he warm to my team after a while?
If you're Arsenal, then not much point getting him. He's not better than Denilson. Never impressed me much tbh. I'd rather go for Lucas or Veloso if anyone.
My team is Valencia so I always like to mange them within the game - and of course Sunny is owned by them.
Anyway, a couple of things about him:
Good points:
1. Great defensive qualities
2. Young and grows to become a very good defensive midfielder
[Yes, that's right, only two good points]
Bad points:
1. In Spain, he takes up one of the three valuable foreign player slots
2. His teamwork rating is quite low (13 or 14 I think) so he doesn't fit well with my tactics. Something few people remember is that this key attribute determines how well players stick to the tactics.
3. He cannot be used in an attacking sense at all. I take on board what intermilannumber1 said about him scoring, but that must be the only goal he's scored. His attacking qualities are zero. His off the ball rating is so low making him useless at losing his marker.
So, as theincrediblehulk suggests, you should go with Veloso, Lucas, or someone like that. They are better defensively and as an attacking option - which is really important when trying to break down weaker teams.
Well, obviously it depends on the game, but he's never struck me as something particularly special.
Banega is insane on one of my games, but fairly mediocre on others. Lucas is a pretty reliable choice as aforementioned, though a pricey one. De Rossi is amazing but costs a ludicrous amount I also find. Mascherano is very good, you can pick him up for free when his contract runs out at the end of the first season. The list goes on, but essentially I wouldn't bother with Sunny myself.
