I was trying to loan a player from Dnipro when I saw that they had an affiliate club, which was Dinamo Kiev. When I looked on Dnipro's information, Dinamo Kiev is claimed as a fierce rival. Seems slightly odd that fierce rivals would send players on loan to the other. Anybody else seen any like this?

Does seem strange.
But Dinamo Kiev might say : "Dnipro are so bad, we have to send them players that aren't good enough for ourselves".
Maybe they're taking pity on them.

I've played the Ukrainan league and there are some odd associations, Sergi Rebrov, famously know for playing for Dynamo Kiev is on the favoured personel list at Shaktar, their biggest rivals!

Irl Northampton took a player on loan from their main rivals Peterborough even though Northampton are in the higher league.

Plymouth are affiliated with Exeter City, but are both big rivals, certainly in the eyes of the two respective clubs supporters.
