First off, this isn't a moan. Love the game, am not necessarily suggesting there's anything wrong with it.
However, ive just had a champions league two legged tie and over the two legs, on 4 occasions a striker of mine has missed a wide open goal, from no more than 10 yards. There has always been a defender near them, but not goal-side. So is this something anyone else is seeing- are the defenders putting them under so much pressure that they miss an easy chance? It just strikes me that if this were the case there should be at least a penalty shout, and there never is.
I've not seen much of what you are talking about but pressure and fouling someone is a totally different thing. Maybe it is just a problem with 2d not representing what is happening accurately.
