Been trying (for a while!) to download the aformentioned files with no luck.My computer keeps asking me which program to use to open the files which is where you hopefully come in.Thanks in advance

Hmm. Well you don't open them at all. Just download.

CDocuments and Settings\\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\tactics

Stick em in there (or wherever you've installed your game)

Then load them up within your game in the tactics screen.

Actually, that depends. If the files are in the format .rar or .zip then you will need something like WinRAR to open them and extract them to the appropiate folder. If not, then just do what SWaRFeGa said.
