Hi all, I am wondering if regens can be trained so that their inherent weakness can be strengthen or whether it'll always remain as their main weakness.
If it is the latter then i think there is some imperfection with the regen system. When i look through my scouts' reports i realised all(8/8) of the promising young(16-18) central midfielders have aerial ability listed as their weakness, which imo doesn't really reflect the reality. in the 18-25 bracket it's 6/13 and in the 26-35(age group b4 regens become dominant in my game) the ratio is significantly lower.
Depends on exactly what the weakness is. I've managed to improve a players speed and acceleration so it was no longer a weakness but it only ever got to average about 12-14 from around 7-8.
Aerial ability is I find a hard thing to improve. Raising Jumping is difficult enough, but Heading hardly ever improves in my experience. Training a player hard on Ball Control just improves too many other stats to raise heading much.
