Can anyone clear up what the player rules are for your under-18 squad in the English leagues? The tournament rules state that there's no player restrictions, but it seems that if a player is going to turn 19 in the current season (01.09.year)then he becomes inelgible for matches even if he's currently 18. What I've also noticed is players that you sign are inelgible regardless of age and nationality. Have the rules changed since FM07? Because I remember in that version you could play up to 3 over 18 players per match.
Anycase if anyone knows about this please post, its really bugging me.
