Default How to make a skin that takes on the team colours?

I apologise if this has been asked before but I'm having trouble finding it. Some skins seem to take on the colours of the team you're playing as. How is this done. I imagine it involves alteration of the xml and picking a transparent colour but I've no idea how to do this. Any help would be appreciated.

Easiest way is to have a look at some xml to see how it's done. The header.xml in the main skin for instance. Flick through that and you'll see where the colour changing bit is.

Essentially all the graphics that are colour changing are a shade of red. Within the xml a variable is called ('bkcl' for a team's background colour 'fcol' for a team's foreground) and the game recolours the red graphics to the team colour.
