Text tip: Simple text is often the best text. Pure white Arial is my favourite.
About the sig: I think it's nice, good blending. Don't like the lines in the background tho, try removing them, they kinda removes the depth in it.

V2 is better. The text should be a bit larger.

i agree that v2 is the best, with the text try putting each word on a new layer then you can move them around and position them nicely, try downloading a variety of fonts so you can use fonts that accent the style of the sig, don't always put spaces between words sometimes just change from lower case to capitals or change colours

still a nice sig though
