do they have the same player ID as in fm2005? I dont think so, so the facepacks for 2005 can not be fitted for sure

The only players who would have different IDs are players who weren't in the database.
The vast majority of IDs will be the same (its not worth SI's time to change the IDs - and I wouldn't like to be the one who would have to do it, if they ever change the IDs).
All the teams and competitions I've come across in FM2006 have the same IDs as FM2005, except for the ones that weren't on FM2005.

i inastalled the FMD megapacks into program files/sports interative/football manager 2006 but none of the pictures are apearing for some reason when i run fm2006 afterwards

any idea what i am doing wrong ?

Have you ticked the relevant box in the game preferences screen?

Have you saved them to FM2006 and not FM2005?

Have you reloaded the game since installing them?

I have skin cache turned off ( WITHOUT "V" mark) and i still cant see the logos and the photos I added (xml is ok)
But some team in portugal and England - there I can see also a logo of the league, photos and team-logos, so I think it some build-in pics in FM06, but how can I see what I've added (it worked perfect in FM05)?

Yep same problem for me, i've even emailed the site but had no response.

Avoid it at all costs in my opinion
