I have downloaded and installed the ice skin. At first it appears to work fine, but when I try and start a match I get a message, saying something along the lines of "There has been a serious error ". All my other skins work fine (near enough every skin that has been released)

Anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it?

I've solved the problem. My "pitch" folder in data/graphics had been deleted, therefore the match engine could not work

Help please. I have the same problem but i do have the pitch folder in data/graphics. I have just started a new game and everything was fine until my first match. The match works if i run it on commentary only but if i want to see the 2d pitch, i get the following message: 'A serious error was encountered and the application will close. An error file has been generated in C:/ProgramFiles/SportsInteractive/FootballManager2006'.

This happens with the Hellenic and Ice skins but not with turnstyle. When i use turnstyle, everything works and i can see the pitch. It's really wierd.

Apologies if this subject has already been discussed or if i posted in the wrong part of the forum but this is my first ever post so i dont know any better.

Try copying your pitch folder for Turnstyle to the default location for all skins (you may be missing a couple of files, hence the game crashes).
