Well the default Metallic is alright but the cappuccino or whatever is called is just damn ugly.

I use the default skin. I really like the green-ness of it. I like the positioning of everything except the 'news' or 'mailbox' item which could be more prominent seeing as you often have to switch to that page. (I should use keyboard shortcuts, but hey).
The default skin's menu placement is great too, except for a few instances where items are scrolled below the page (team selection when you have several comes to mind).

ah right. Well Yeah i like the way turnstyle 06 changes colour depending on which team you are.
Everything is in the same place as the stone skin (or i think it is) so i reckon that is alright, just i find the colour makes the game more appealing.
I played with the default skin in fm05 but o nly just changed skin with this version. tried the other default skins like cappucino but that was just crap i thought

I like the use of team colours but just subtle changes from screen to screen so it doesn't start hurting the eyes, the default metallic skin layout is fine but just too bland colour wise.

Aurora.
Best 3rd party skin by a long way. I don't think it has anything to do with the specifics of the skin - more that it is just very different to the metallic skin. Has a connceted feel I guess rather than being seperate elements.
It is just so polished too in every area, time was clearly spent on the little details that are annoying to do but make the difference. It has quality about it.
I tried Turnstyle as it seems really popular but to me it has the feeling of a 'body-kitted' Aurora.

I had one for cm03/04 that i liked. was called godskin i think or something like that. Wanted one like that for fm06 but couldnt find one like it.
