I've been trying to change the size of the ball, i've even found this thread discussion on changing size but I keep getting this error message after I make the changes to the target field of the desktop shortcut for FM.

Sorry the error I get is " the name specified in the target box is not valid please check make sure the path and filename are correct.

My change was:
"CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\fm.exe"--small_ballls=[0]

Previously CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\fm.exe" would allow me to start the game..now after making the changes I can't seem to adjust the size of the ball. If I'm doing something wrong I would appreciate some enlightenment. Thanks

Try entering it like this:

"CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\fm.exe" -small_ballls=[0]

Not sure if it will work but give it a go

Yeah just did that, this time I don;t get the error message but the ball size stays the same.

Not sure if this will work as the balls are graphics and not drawn in code any more (since FM 2005)

yeah i tried the code it did't work..not sure if deleting the small ball graphics will work...i really doubt it
